Coriander Seeds
Coriander , also known as Chinese parsley, is an annual herb in the family Apiaceae. The stems and leaves of the plant are commonly called cilantro.

Coriander is used in cuisines worldwide, and its seeds have a lemony citrus flavor when crushed. It is described as warm, nutty, spicy, and orange-flavored. Coriander seed is a key ingredient in garam masala and Indian curries, often combined with cumin. It is also used widely in pickling vegetables. In Germany and South Africa, coriander seeds are used in sausages, and in Russia and Central Europe, they can be found in rye bread such as Borodinsky bread, as an alternative to caraway. Additionally, coriander seeds are used in brewing certain styles of beer, particularly Belgian wheat beers.
